About the method.
What is Head Trash Clearance?
Head Trash Clearance — HTC for short — is a self-led emotional healing method developed over 16+ years by Alexia Leachman. It works by clearing the emotional charge driving anxiety, patterns, and reactions at the root, rather than managing them at the surface.
It's not therapy. It's not mindfulness. It's not a coping strategy. It's a structured clearing method that removes what's running you, so you can stop having to manage it.
What is Absolute Healing?
Absolute Healing is the deeper layer of the Head Trash method — the work that addresses the wounds powering your patterns, rather than the patterns themselves. Used when surface clearing isn't enough and something structural needs resolving.
Absolute Healing happens through what we call Absolute Healing Activations (AHA) — sessions that surface and resolve root-level wounds, including childhood, ancestral, in-utero, and forgotten material.
What is the Ladder of Growth?
The Ladder of Growth is the measurement framework built into the Head Trash method. It tracks where your Emotional Operating System sits, how it's moving, and what work is appropriate at each stage.
It exists as both a built-in element of the Clearance Club and as a standalone tool at ladderofgrowth.io.
Is Head Trash Clearance a type of therapy?
No. Head Trash Clearance is not therapy and is not a substitute for clinical mental health treatment. It's a structured self-led emotional healing method.
Many people use HTC alongside therapy because the two address different layers — therapy works with insight, narrative, and exploration; HTC works with emotional charge, patterns, and root wounds.
If you're in active mental health crisis or on psychiatric medication, please consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any self-led healing work.
How is HTC different from EFT, Tapping, or other energy techniques?
HTC works on a different principle. EFT and Tapping work primarily through somatic regulation — calming the nervous system through specific tapping sequences while voicing concerns.
HTC works through what we call the law of opposites — clearing both poles of an emotional charge (love and hate, want and dread) systematically across six dimensions of experience. It includes a physical element (the TAT acupressure pose), but the cognitive structure is the engine.
The result: HTC can clear charge that other techniques can soften but not eliminate. People often arrive at HTC after EFT or Tapping have plateaued.
How long does it take to see results?
Faster than most people expect. Many clients notice shifts within the first one or two sessions — patterns that have been running for years can clear in a single sitting once we know what we're targeting.
The deeper work (Absolute Healing) takes longer because it's restructuring the operating system, not just recalibrating it. But measurement is built in throughout, so you can see what's moving as you go.

The Clearance Club.
What is the Clearance Club?
The Clearance Club is a self-healing membership platform that gives you a personalised clearing practice in an app. £49/month. Take the diagnostic, get your clearance list, work through it at your own pace, watch your progress move.
It's the most accessible entry point into the Head Trash method.
What's included in the Club membership?
Personalised clearance list based on your initial assessment, full library of guided clearance audio tracks, regular live group sessions with Alexia, focused sprints on specific themes, community access, and progress tracking via the Ladder of Growth framework.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. The Club is month-to-month. Cancel anytime through your account.
Do I need to know the HTC method before joining?
No. The Club introduces the method as you go. You don't need any prior knowledge or experience.
Category 03
The programmes.
What's the difference between the Club and the wound healing programmes?
The Club gives you a personalised clearing practice for the surface charge running through your life — patterns, reactions, low-grade anxiety, daily friction. £49/month, ongoing.
The wound healing programmes go deeper. They're structured therapeutic-grade containers for clearing specific wound categories — anxiety drivers, childhood wounds, glass child wounds. £495–£695, self-paced, lifetime access.
Most people start with the Club and add a programme when they're ready to go deeper. Some people enter directly via a programme if they know what they want to work on.
Are the programmes self-paced?
Yes. All programmes are self-paced with lifetime access. You can work through them as fast or slow as suits you.
Will I have to relive painful memories?
No. The Absolute Healing process — which the wound healing programmes use — works with the emotional imprint beneath the story, not by repeatedly retelling it. Memories may surface as part of releasing, and emotion may rise — that's normal, and the programmes are paced to support you through it.
Can I do more than one programme at the same time?
Possible, but not recommended for most people. Each programme is deep work — better to focus on one until you've worked through it, then add another.
If you're considering combining programmes, ask in the fit conversation and we'll work out the best sequence.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Payment plans are available on the £495 and £695 programmes. Details on each programme page.

Working 1:1 with Alexia.
How do I work 1:1 with Alexia?
Six 1:1 programmes are available, ranging from £750 (One Thing — single-month focus) to £7,777 (The Foundation — four months of root-level work). The Emotional Architecture Scan (£1,650) is the standalone diagnostic.
Start with the fit conversation form. Alexia will recommend the right offer for what you're carrying.
What's the difference between working with Alexia and working with a trained practitioner?
Working with Alexia gives you the founder directly — bespoke mapping of what's running you, the deepest clinical experience, and the architect of the method making the calls. Pricing reflects that.
Working with a trained practitioner gives you 1:1 support at a more accessible price point. Practitioners are trained directly in HTC and use the method in their own practices. Find one through the practitioner directory.
How is the "fit conversation" different from an application?
It's not gatekeeping — it's matching. Alexia wants to know enough about your situation to recommend the right offer (or honestly tell you it's not the right fit yet, and what would serve you better first).
Fill it in, hear back within a few working days with a personal recommendation.
What about Burnout ER and the Leadership OS?
These are bespoke 1:1 offers for executives, founders, and senior leaders in acute or high-stakes situations. Burnout ER is rapid emergency intervention; the Leadership OS is a longer container for executive-level work.
Category 05
Practitioner training.
Can I train to become an HTC practitioner?
Yes. Practitioner training is available through Level 1 (personal mastery) and Level 2 (practitioner certification). Training is run via the professional site at headtrashclearance.com.
Do I need a background in therapy or coaching to train?
No, but it helps. Many trainees come from therapy, coaching, energy healing, or related modalities. Others come from corporate, parenting, or self-healing backgrounds. The training accommodates both.
How long does training take?
Both levels are run as group programmes with structured timelines. Full details on the practitioner training site →.
Is training accredited?
The training is delivered by the developer of the method directly. Recognition by external bodies varies by region and modality. If accreditation matters for your context, raise it in the application.
Category 06
Books and content.
Which book should I start with?
Most people start with Clear Your Anxiety For Good — the most recent, with the full six-dimension framework. If you don't have anxiety as a primary issue, start with Clear Your Head Trash (the original).
Where can I buy the books?
All four books are available via books.by/alexia-leachman and on Amazon UK.
Is there a podcast?
Two. The Head Trash and Healing Show is the primary HT podcast (200K+ downloads). The Fear Free Childbirth podcast (2M+ downloads) sits under the Fearless Birthing brand and covers pregnancy and birth fear specifically.
Do you write a newsletter?
Yes. Substack — sign up via the homepage or follow Alexia on Substack directly.
Category 07
Practical and technical.
I'm not in the UK — does that matter?
No. Most clients aren't. All work is remote via Zoom. Pricing is listed in GBP — payment in other currencies handled through the fit conversation.
Is this safe to do if I'm on medication?
If you're on psychiatric medication, please flag it in the fit conversation form (for 1:1 work) or consult your prescribing physician (for self-led programmes). HTC isn't a substitute for medication, and starting any inner work while medicated is a conversation worth having with your healthcare provider.
Is this safe to do during pregnancy?
For specific pregnancy-related work, see Fearless Birthing — the sub-brand built specifically for pregnancy, birth fear, and tokophobia.
For general HTC work during pregnancy: most people are fine. If you have concerns, raise them in the fit conversation.
What if I'm in active crisis?
If you're experiencing severe distress, suicidal thoughts, or require immediate mental health support, please contact emergency services or a qualified mental health professional first.
The Head Trash method is structured self-led healing, not crisis intervention. We're built for clearing wounds and patterns, not stabilising acute crisis.
For leadership/professional crisis (burnout, breakdown), see Burnout ER →
Can I get a refund?
Refund terms vary by product. The full policy — including timeframes, eligibility, and how to request a refund — is here: Refunds & Returns Policy →
